Believe it or Not...

Will Power...Confidence..Positive attitude ...However you may call it....Oflate i have been really amazed at the effects these so called factors have been having in ones life...
Quite common to read about these in books, but to practise is rather difficult...
I dont believe in miracles but at times life unfolds such mystery which forces you to believe in god,almighty etc etc......
Had been to india on a short vacation and the mood in the family wasnt that great owing to the health of my ailing uncle.....A successful businessman in his late thirties ,had taken everyone in a state of shock becoz of his health conditions....
The initial few days and the conversations among my folks suggested 2 things...
Uncle's condition was rather very critical and doctors have given up all their hope.
I never knew my family had so many cardiologists right from kids to oldies discussing abt his heart conditions,bypass,angio....blah blah....
It was rather hard for me to believe these things...He owns a business in Africa and had made an urgent visit to india becoz of some abnormal health conditions...
All my folks belived that he had come for a regular check up and no doubt india is known for its medical facilities...
It all started when he went for a check up and an ecg as a normal procedure....
Within hours things worsened and the situation became rather tensed when doctors suggested the use of a defibrillator , saying that he was suffering from a massive cardiac attack....
None of us cud believe this....such disorders cant develop overnite...how cud someone be so careless about his health.....
The next 2 days were really testing with various cardiac surgeons (across chennai) some rather shocked at his case history..There was this doctor Mr.X who has a success record of 10,000 surgeries who seemed quite negative about the whole thing..
After slow investigation , facts about my uncle's high chosterol level and the possibility of attacks before etc were found out...Infact many were even astounded at the fact that he flew all the way from africa ..Seemed the permissible risk rates in heart surgies is only 2% and in my uncle's case it wud be 30%.......Now the miraculous thing happens in apollo..This MR X who studied the case sheet and concluded that nothing cud be done , jus came to visit the patient (my uncle)...
He was shocked to find my uncle happily lying and chatting..he rather looked very normal...Seems the doctor again confirmed if it was the same patient whose case history he was carrying...seems he even remarked that "no one would believe that he was suffering from such ailment....He suggested to keep him in observation till his condition stabilises and then decide about his surgery.
Within a weeks time, his BP levels settled down and he was recovering...
Infact i visited my uncle once in the hospital.On one side i was really angry for his carelessness and stupidity that has pushed him into such state....He was 100% dedicated towards his business which ruined his health...On the contrary i realised what all could positive energy and confidence do to a person...For the first time in life , i didnt cry in the hospital..Wished him luck and said "my prayers for his health"
Last nite i spoke to him before his surgery and he had the same confidence in his voice with which he spoke to me in the hospital...Ironically he was consoling my folks and giving them the confidence that he would recover soon...His operation is completed today successfully and he has been moved to the ICU..Though it will really take some time for him to recover and he has to be extremely cautious....
A fortnight back no one would have imagined this day would come and i believe that
apart from doctors,prayers and my uncle's good will it was his confidence or will power which has made him sail through all this....
