Dunno why!!! Am in a great mood to write today!!!!!
D-U-B-A-I.... This five letter word has made all the difference to my life.... A turning point in my personal and as well as professional life.....
Few months back , i was a so called happy software engineer, contented with the coding work that was doing in India.... Now am here , married happily and in search of a job to keep my career aspirations flying high....
Sorry to say , but unfortunately i was also a part of the narrow-minded IT sector in India , the self proclaimed "techies", who always looked down upon the support functions... The ample opportunities for IT guys can be attributed as a reason for this misconception...
On the contrary, gulf is synonymous with business .Never got a great feedback about the work culture here.. Neverthless,wanted to try my luck out here...So i set out on my job hunt one and half months back....(fyi ..havent managed to find out as yet...)
Jobs have always been a cake walk for someone who has passed from one of the premier institutes in India.But the first week itself was quite disheartening!!!! Words of encouragement from some close ones kept up my enthu....
Necessity is the mother of invention.... This phase has been really difficult so far ,but even in this adversity i have learnt great lessons for life.... I have once again worn my thinking cap ,this time definitely not to worry abt the job scene but with hopes to take it forward in a different direction.... Lemme keep my fingers crossed... Will leave my post at this stage.....
Promise to finish it once am successful....
